Most shops hide their rules in the driest prose on the site. We’ve tried to keep ours readable. Please don’t let the tone fool you, though: everything below is a binding part of every order you place with us. It takes about five minutes to read.

1. Who we are

Ladasten (“we”, “us”) is the online store of Nonsensia Lab, the laboratory that synthesises and tests our reagents. It is run from ul. Marszałkowska 80, 00-517 Warsaw, Poland.

We usually answer within 24 hours, Monday to Friday. Please put your order number (for example LAD-6123) in every message about an order. It saves a round of back-and-forth.

2. What we sell

Every product in this store is a research-grade chemical reagent for laboratory work only. That includes analytical method development and validation, GC-MS and HPLC analysis, use as reference or comparison material, and other in-vitro research.

That’s the whole list. If your intended use isn’t on it, this isn’t the store for you, and there are no hard feelings.

4. Handling reagents safely

A reagent is only as safe as the person handling it. When you work with our products:

• wear gloves and eye protection, and work in a ventilated area or under a fume hood;
• keep the reagent in its labelled container, closed, dry and away from light and heat, unless the product page says otherwise;
• keep it away from food and drink, and out of reach of children and unauthorised people;
• never pour unused material back into the original container;
• dispose of waste according to your local rules for laboratory chemicals.

5. You must be 18+

By placing an order, you confirm that you are at least 18 years old and legally able to enter into a contract.

6. Prices and orders

• All prices are shown and charged in euro (EUR).
• Most products are sold by weight. The variant you pick (for example 1 g, 5 g or 20 g) is exactly the quantity you receive, and the price shown next to it is exactly what you pay for that quantity. Shipping is added at checkout.
• The price that applies is the one shown when you place your order. Later price changes, up or down, do not affect orders already placed.
• Every order gets a number in the form LAD-XXXX. You’ll find it in your order e-mails.
• Placing an order is your offer to buy. The contract is concluded when we confirm your payment by e-mail (“Payment received”).

7. Payment

We accept bank transfer only. The payment details appear on the order confirmation page and in the order e-mail you receive right after ordering (in the language of your delivery country).

1. Pay the exact order total in euro to our EUR account, or instantly with the Revolut tag shown with the bank details — from any currency balance in your Revolut app. Customers in Poland may instead make a domestic transfer of the PLN amount stated in their order e-mail (ECB reference rate, rounded up to the full złoty) to our PKO Bank Polski account. (Orders placed earlier in another currency are paid in that currency.)
2. Put your order number in the transfer title. That is how we match your payment.
3. We ship once the money has been credited to our account. A screenshot of a transfer is not proof of payment.

Forgot the order number in the title? E-mail us your name and the date of the transfer, and we’ll find it.

8. Shipping

Parcels are dispatched from Poland, Monday to Friday. The methods available for your address are shown at checkout, each with its own conditions:

• Classic letter. Untracked, via Polish Post. It is cheap because nobody, us included, can follow it once it has been posted, and the post office issues no proof of delivery.
• Registered letter. Tracked, via Polish Post, with proof of posting and delivery. It is slower and can take up to a month. You must use your real name and a correct address, because the recipient may have to show ID to collect it. A registered letter that isn’t collected goes back as undeliverable.
• InPost parcel locker. Tracked delivery to a locker in the countries listed at checkout.

Most parcels arrive within 8 days. International letters can sometimes take up to three weeks. If yours hasn’t arrived by then, write to us.

We do not ship to the United States, Israel or Russia. An order with a delivery address in one of these countries will be cancelled and refunded in full.

You are responsible for making sure that buying, importing and handling the reagents you order is legal where you live. Everything we sell complies with Polish law, but that does not mean it is legal in every country. We do not reship parcels that have been held or seized by customs or any other authority.

10. Wrong or incomplete order

Every order is packed by hand. Mistakes are rare, but they can happen: a wrong item, a missing item, or a quantity that doesn’t match your order. If it happens to you, we’ll put it right quickly and at our own cost.

Write to shop@ladasten.com with your order number and photos of:

• everything that arrived, laid out together;
• the label on each container, readable in the photo;
• the outer packaging with its shipping label.

We compare your photos with our own photos taken at packing. Most cases are settled the same working day. If the mistake is ours, we send the missing or correct items free of charge. You don’t pay twice, and you don’t pay for any return.

Please don’t send anything back to the sender address on the parcel. It is a dispatch point only and cannot receive returns, so a parcel sent there will not reach us. If a return is ever needed, we will give you the right address in our reply. Please wait for it.

11. Items we can’t supply, and refunds

Occasionally a product, or a particular quantity of it, turns out to be unavailable after the store has accepted your order. If that happens:

• we ship everything that is available and contact you about the rest;
• we refund what we couldn’t supply, unless you would rather wait for new stock;
• if we can’t supply anything at all, we refund the whole order.

Refunds go back by bank transfer, normally to the account you paid from. A refund passes through our accounts and then through the banks, so please allow up to 14 days from our confirmation for the money to arrive. It is usually faster.

12. Quality guarantee

Every reagent ships with the identity and purity declared on its product page, and we stand behind those figures.

If an independent analysis (GC-MS, HPLC or an equivalent recognised method) from an identifiable laboratory shows that your reagent does not match its specification, send it to us. We will:

• refund the full price of that product, and
• reimburse the documented cost of the analysis, at typical market rates.

If we got it wrong, the analysis is on us. What the report must contain, and how to send it, is explained on our Returns & Refunds page.

13. The Analyst’s Bonus

Did the analysis confirm our quality? You can still benefit from it.

1. Send us the original GC-MS / HPLC results.
2. In the comment field of your next order, write: I Send GC-MS / HPLC results
3. We check the results and add a bonus to that order.

You get independently confirmed reagents and a reward, and we get proof that our quality holds up.

14. Returns

We don’t accept returns or exchanges of reagents. Once a reagent has left us, we can’t verify how it was stored or whether it was opened or contaminated, so it can never be sold again with the purity we guarantee. Please check your order carefully before you pay.

There are only three situations in which we refund or replace:

• lab results show that the product doesn’t match its specification (section 12);
• we packed your order wrongly or incompletely (section 10);
• we couldn’t supply an item you paid for (section 11).

The full procedure is on our Returns & Refunds page. Never send anything back unless we have asked you to and given you the address. This does not limit any rights you have under mandatory consumer law.

15. Privacy

We use your details only to process, deliver and document your order and to answer your messages. We don’t send newsletters, and we never sell your data. After an order is completed, we may send you one message asking for a review, and you are free to ignore it. The full details are in our Privacy Policy.

16. Law, disputes and changes

These terms are governed by Polish law. If you are a consumer, you keep the protection of the mandatory laws of the country where you live. If something goes wrong, please write to us first. Almost every problem gets solved faster that way.

We may update these terms from time to time. The version published on this page when you place your order applies to that order.
